Be the degree of difference

Join us as we bring together the industry’s leading innovators and thinkers to discuss ‘the 2 degree world’ and how we can slow global warming.

It is widely recognised that climate change is one of the biggest challenges currently facing humanity and the inclusion of Buildings Day in the COP21 program highlighted the important role that the building and construction industry plays in addressing this issue. According to the UNEP, “more than 30 per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions are buildings-related, and emissions could double by 2050 if we carry on business as usual”.

Thus, it’s never been more imperative to transform the sustainability of our buildings and communities to ensure that global warming is limited to well below 2 degrees Celcius.

This full-day conference will feature discussions focussed around this global theme, but with a local lens. The program features an inspiring line-up of industry experts, future leaders and ground breaking case studies, along with opportunities for you to engage, network and collaborate with other industry professionals. You will walk away with the tools to make practical changes in your daily work that will contribute to a more sustainable future.

A 2 degree world is possible tomorrow, only if we commit to making a difference today.
