Are paints, adhesives, sealants and carpets considered collectively when calculating the product compliance rate?

No, a product compliance rate of 95% or higher (with regards to VOC limits) must be demonstrated for each of the following categories separately in order to be eligible for (1) point: 

  • Paints
  • Sealants and adhesives
  • Carpets

Please refer to F-00089 for guidance on what metrics are used to calculate the compliance rate for each type of product.
