How can a multi-pass heat pump demonstrate compliance with the COP for Domestic Hot Water compliance?
Where a multi-pass heat pump is used for domestic hot water and thereby COP varies across successive heating stages, projects may use the COP at 20°C ambient and 45°C leaving water temperature to demonstrate a minimum COP of 3.0 in accordance with the Domestic Hot Water Generation criteria under Energy Use - Residential Pathway.
