Can industrial projects claim future amenities for the Proximity to Amenities credit?

Yes, industrial projects can claim future amenities for the Proximity to Amenities credit, including the ones that will be available on the project site to building occupants, where these amenities are scheduled for delivery within two years of the project's date of practical completion.

All other requirements are per the Submission Guidelines or Green Star - Design & As Built Industrial Guidance.

Note that non-industrial projects may refer to FAQ F-00179 regarding planned future amenities.

Documentation Requirements

Please provide the following in your submission:

  • Google Maps (or other mapping service) location showing evidence of amenities in line with the Submission Guidelines or Green Star - Design & As Built Industrial Guidance
  • Evidence of future amenities that are scheduled for delivery within 2 years of practical completion;
  • Documentation as per the Submission Guidelines or Green Star - Design & As Built Industrial Guidance
  • A copy of this response.
