What calculators do I use for Green Star Performance v2?

*** FAQ updated 16/07/2026 to align with the latest calculators available and current status of the Green Star Online Submission Portal ***

Calculators can be accessed by filtering for calculators in the Resources Portal. Users can then upload the completed calculators into the project submission via the Green Star Online Submission Portal.

We currently have the following calculators for Green Star Performance v2:

Note that the Other Carbon Emissions credit is relevant in multiple calculators, as each calculator has an 'Other Carbon Emissions' tab purposed to calculate the emissions associated with the emission source in the credit.

 

Some Performance v2 calculators are still under development. If you require a calculator that is not currently listed for your submission, please submit a 'Fix or Modify Calculator Request' to request the calculator.

In the meantime, the following alternative calculators may be used in place of a Performance v2 specific calculator. To use one of these alternatives, submit the completed calculator as part of your submission and attach this FAQ as supporting documentation.

Amenity Diversity - Proximity to Amenities Pathway only

 

Alternatively, projects may elect to demonstrate the number of amenities and amenity categories by providing supporting evidence such as google maps extracts or similar. It is expected that projects using the 'Sector pathway - industrial or regional areas' pathway will use this approach as the criteria under this pathway differs from Green Star Buildings.

 

* It noted that the online calculator is to be used. The offline (excel) Green Star Buildings Movement and Place calculator cannot be used as it does not automatically output number of amenities and amenity diversity.
