Can projects use EN 16516 to show that Engineered Wood Products meet formaldehyde emission limits?

Yes, project teams may use the EN 16516 (also known as DIN EN 16516) test protocol to determine formaldehyde emissions for Engineered Wood Products.

It must be demonstrated that formaldehyde emission does not exceed the 0.12mg/m3 limit.
