Green Star FAQs

FAQ F-00395
Are there alternative pathways for particle board testing under Exposure to Toxins from Green Star Buildings?

Yes.

GBCA notes that AS/NZS 4266.16:2004 has been superseded by AS/NZS 4266.1:2017 and therefore considers testing in accordance with AS/NZS 1859.1:2017 following the procedure outlined under AS/NZS 4266.1:2017 section 17 to be equivalent to the Submission Guidelines' stipulated AS/NZS 1859.1:2004 for Particle Board formaldehyde compliance.
