Green Star FAQs

FAQ F-00318
Is there a minimum number of room types and spaces required to be provided for the Design for Inclusion credit?

No, not all rooms listed within the Inclusive Design criteria under the Design for Inclusion credit from Green Star Buildings v1 are required to be delivered for all projects (that is, the parents, family restrooms, emergency rooms, quiet rooms, and social interaction rooms). Instead, the delivered rooms should be designed to cater for the expected occupants of the building.

There is no minimum number of inclusive spaces required per number of regular occupants however the number of inclusive spaces included in the project should be sufficient to cater for the expected profile and number of occupants of the building.
