Provision of Outdoor Air for Mechanically Ventilated Spaces & NCC 2016

For Mechanical ventilated spaces, 1 point can be achieved by demonstrating an improvement over AS 1668.2:2012 requirements or demonstrating carbon dioxide concentrations are maintained below 800 ppm.

The GBCA notes that the provision of air rates outlined in Section J5.3 NCC 2016 relate to the latter compliance requirement of maintaining carbon dioxide concentrations be lower 800 ppm. Refer to Table FV4.1 of NCC 2016 for further information on Contaminant limits in indoor spaces.
