FAQ F-00220
Can the private garages of class 1 buildings be excluded from the requirement to mechanically exhaust pollutants?

Yes, for class 1 dwellings with individual garages (1 or 2 car spaces), each individual garage does not require a dedicated mechanical exhaust in targeting credit 9.3 'Exhaust or Elimination of Pollutants', given the level of natural ventilation available from the opening and closing of the garage door.
