Registering with Green Star Buildings

Are there any changes to the certification process for Green Star Buildings?

The certification process for Green Star Buildings remains the same as previous rating tools. Green Star Buildings awards a Certified rating once the building has been built. An optional Designed assessment helps you promote your progress towards a rating to your tenants, future occupants, or other stakeholders. (See Green Star Designed Assessment and Green Star Buildings Certified rating for more information and Marketing Rules and Style Guide For Green Star projects)

What are the costs involved for the Green Star Buildings tool?

Certification fees remain the same as Design & As Built, that is, they are based on the project’s contract value. See Certification fees for a list of fees based on contract value.

Technical question fees and the process remain the same. Project teams can submit general or credit specific questions for the tool through the Green Star project manager.
