Can a DALI system be used to demonstrate compliance with the Lighting Comfort - Localised Lighting Control credit?

For Green Star - Design & As Built projects:

Yes, a project team may target the credit criteria 11.3 Localised Lighting Control for a base building targeting a Green Star - Design & As Built rating, by installing a DALI system within the base building, which can then be utilized by the tenant to deliver localized lighting control. Project teams must provide a Tenancy Fitout Guide (or similar) to the tenant, which contains relevant information about the DALI system.  

 

For Green Star - Interiors:

Where the Lighting Comfort credit has been achieved for the base building by installing a DALI system, and no change to the base building systems have been undertaken as part of the fitout works, the project team may claim the credit criteria 10.3 Localised Lighting Control by :

  • Using base building documentation from the Green Star rated building and;
  • Providing confirmation that a tenant fitout guide containing the relevant information about the DALI system has been provided to the tenant. 

 

Documentation Requirements:

Please provide the following in your submission:

  • Tenancy Fitout Guide (or similar) 
  • Confirmation that the tenant has received/has been provided with the Tenancy Fitout Guide (or similar)
  • All other documentation requirements are as per the submission guidelines. 
  • A copy of this response.
