Yes, projects targeting Credit 12.0 Glare Reduction under Green Star - Design & As Built may control or mitigate glare in a building with the provision for tenants to install blinds, given the following conditions are met:

• The window and ceiling design does not obstruct the future installation of blinds or screens; and
• A Tenancy Fitout Guide (or similar) is provided to future occupants on what blinds and screens would be suitable (i.e., provide dimensions, fixing points, fixing types etc.) and appropriate fixing points and mechanisms.

Projects targeting the Daylight criterion in Minimum Expectation in Green Star Buildings can demonstrate that external glare is controlled or mitigated in the daylit spaces with the provision for tenants to install blinds, given the following conditions are met:

• The window and ceiling design does not obstruct the future installation of blinds or screens; and
• Information on what blinds and screens would be suitable (i.e., provide dimensions, fixing points, fixing types etc.) and appropriate fixing points and mechanisms is included within the operations maintenance information provided for the Building Information criterion in Minimum Expectation under the Verification and Handover credit.

This approach does not apply to Credit Achievement criteria unless specified within the Submission Guidelines.
