Can I target a stepped point scale for the Reduced Peak Electricity Demand credit?

Yes, project teams may use the stepped scale outlined below for credit 23A Reduced Peak Electricity Demand - Performance Pathway within the Green Star - Communities v1 and v1.1 rating tool.

Project teams may target: 

  • 1 point where it is demonstrated that the project's predicted peak electricity demand has been reduced by 12.5% when compared to that of a reference project. 
  • 2 points where it is demonstrated that the project's predicted peak electricity demand has been reduced by 25% when compared to that of a reference project. 

Please note: there are no partial points awarded for this credit. 

All compliance requirements are as per the Submission Guidelines.
