About
Laura Pritchard is a client side sustainability professional working with Sydney Metro as part of Transport for NSW. She was recognised by the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) with the Emerging Leader Award in 2018. Previously a Sustainability Officer and then Manager for Sydney Metro City & Southwest (2017-2020), responsibilities including oversight of procurement, detailed design and construction across several packages of work including facilitating the delivery of Green Star and Infrastructure Sustainability ratings. Now Sustainability Manager for Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport, she is leading the sustainability approach for the project, embedding positive environmental and social outcomes throughout the planning and concept design stage and into delivery. Laura believes success in sustainability is about being outcome focussed, genuinely embedded, and continually striving for improvement.
