Penny is a Group Executive at Investa Property Group, one of Australia&rsquo;s most recognised fully integrated commercial real estate companies, committed to helping Australian workplaces to thrive.
Penny leads the Group&rsquo;s Investment Management business with over $12 billion of asset under management, including the Investa Commercial Property Fund (ICPF), Oxford Investa Property Partnership and a number of institutional mandates.&nbsp; Penny&rsquo;s responsibilities also include Investa&rsquo;s Corporate Sustainability and Research functions.
Prior to her current role, Penny was Fund Manager of the Investa Office Fund (IOF), an ASX-listed real estate investment trust with $4.5 billion of assets under management prior to being privatised at the end of 2018.
Penny has over 25 years of Australian and international property industry experience, with a strong track record in driving performance through challenging market cycles.
Prior to joining Investa, Penny was Fund Manager of the diversified Dexus Wholesale Property Fund (DWPF), Head of Capital at Dexus and the Head of Equity at Lendlease in the UK and Europe.
Bob JohnsonChief Executive Officer and Managing Director, The GPT Group
Bob Johnston joined The GPT Group as Chief Executive Officer in September 2015.
He is an experienced property executive and business leader with a career spanning 31 years. Bob has been involved in most facets of the property sector including investment, development, project management and construction in Australia, Asia, the US and UK. He has a wealth of experience in funds management, asset management, development and across most asset classes including office, retail and industrial. For the eight years prior to joining GPT, Bob was Managing Director of the ASX-listed Australand Property Group, which became Frasers Australand in September 2014.
Prior to that Bob held a number of senior management positions with Lend Lease. Bob is also the Chairman of the Property Industry Foundation and a Corporate Leader representative on the Board of Directors for the Property Council of Australia. He is also a founding member of the Property Male Champions of Change. Director since 14 April 2016.
