Green Star Future Focus Workshops

The GBCA is about to embark on an ambitious journey to reshape our Green Star rating system. Green Star Future Focus will see the rating system continue to deliver sustainable outcomes in the built environment, while responding to global megatrends and emerging challenges.

These series of interactive workshops aims to go beyond the discussion paper. During this half day workshop we will ask you to work with us to define:

• What do you want to achieve with Green Star Future focus
• What is world leadership in the built environment for human rights issues, resilience, transport, planning, and liveability, ecology and biodiversity, and health and wellbeing?
• What is best practice? And how do we make sure we don’t leave the mid-tier sector behind?
• How will mandating ongoing operational ratings work?
• How can we change certification to make is cheaper and more streamlined? And what lessons should we learn from previous updates?

We can’t do this without the input of our members, Green Star users and broader industry.
