Nick is an Associate Director and Victorian Education Sector Lead at AECOM. Nick has supported the design team in delivery of the Monash Peninsula Student Accommodation project including coordination of the developments Passive House requirements and CLT construction. Nick has brought his experience from a range of technically and architecturally challenging projects and regularly champions environmental initiatives and engineering innovation across the built environment sector.

About Jack
After studying architecture and construction management, Jack has been involved in construction delivery as both a contract administrator and project engineer. Now leading teams as a design manager at Kane, Jack works primarily on health, tertiary and architecturally complex projects and is passionate about bringing together skills from consultants, clients and subcontractors to deliver high performing buildings. The recently completed Monash New Chancellery Building was Jack’s most recent project, and was delivered in line with high performing air tightness targets and Passive House design principles.
Robin Brimblecombe - Monash University

About Robin
Dr Rob Brimblecombe leads the University’s Engineering and Sustainability team, including the development and delivery of the Net Zero Emissions Initiative and Circular Economy Strategy. Over the last ten years he has directed the University's Energy management and procurement activities, lectured in building science and renewables, supervised applied research projects in sustainable development and co-authored the book 'Positive Energy Homes’. He has a PhD in Photo-electrolysis (solar hydrogen) and before taking up his position a Monash, complete a Fulbright Fellowship at Princeton University.

About Scott
Scott Ferraro is a leader in net zero-emission strategy development and implementation, with a deep understanding of the opportunities to reduce emissions across the energy, transport and buildings sectors. Currently, as Program Director of Monash University’s Net Zero Initiative, Scott and his team are focused on transitioning Monash’s Australian operations to net zero emissions by 2030. The program aims to find translatable solutions to enable the broader transition to net-zero emissions required under the Paris Agreement.

About Johanna
Johanna leads NDY’s group of specialist sustainability consultants in Melbourne. Johanna has held roles as an architect, sustainability advisor, project leader, and ESD consultant, which enables her to bring a diverse range of design, engineering and stakeholder engagement experience into the projects she is working on. During her 16 years of local and international industry experience, she developed a keen eye for design centered sustainability solutions. Johanna is a certified Passive House Designer and Trainer; a director on the Australian Passive House Association board; and is passionate about establishing this world leading energy performance and indoor comfort standard in Australia – both for new buildings and the existing building stock.
