Green Star – Design & As Built Foundation course
We are now launching our revised and improved courses. Offering both an Introduction day and separately bookable Advanced day, we aim to meet greater knowledge needs and give you more value:
- Foundation course: Introduction day (day one)
- Foundation course: Advanced day on Green Star – Design & As Built (day two)
- Advanced courses in Green Star – Performance and Green Star – Communities coming soon next year
The Introduction day will explore sustainability in the built environment, why Green Star and examine the business case for sustainability. It will illustrate all 3 rating tools via case studies and demonstrate how the tools can inform better choices.
The Advanced day will dive deep into the rating tool and examine the most challenging credits. It will be interactive and case study based. And you will learn through doing - as you get to grips with pathways, calculators and submissions. This day leads to the exam and GSAP qualification.
Which course is right for you?
Our Introduction day is ideal for those new to sustainability or those wanting an understanding of where rating tools and the business benefits of Green Star fit. Suitable for a variety of professionals including:
Want to know more? Looking to be accredited as a Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP)?
Our Advanced day arms you with advanced knowledge and expertise in a particular Green Star rating system. If you haven't attended a Foundation course in the last two years, you must attend the Introduction day prior to the Advanced day, and pass the exam to gain GSAP accreditation.
The Advanced day will give you a thorough understanding of the submission process and take you step by step through what you need to know. The GSAP accreditation will distinguish you as an industry expert.
This course has a few different booking options. If you would like to register for the package, your ticket will include both the Introduction day and Advanced day at a discounted rate.
If you prefer to attend one day, you can also register for the Introduction day or Advanced day separately.
