Welcome
To mark the beginning of what will no doubt be another exciting and productive year for the Council, this month’s edition contains important updates on our key activities and Green Star rating tools.
We are pleased to announce that the Victorian Deputy Premier, Hon John Thwaites, will keynote the ECOEDGE conference dinner on 10 February together with guest presenter - futurist Richard Neville.
Importantly, Green Star – Office Design and Green Star Office - As Built have been updated and Version 2 of the tools and Technical Manuals are now available.
The Council warmly welcomes its new members: Knight Frank, Land Development Agency (ACT), Morris Bray Architects, The Property Lab and Tennant Hydraulic Consulting Services P/L.
Finally, this month a special thank you goes to the sponsors of Green Star – Office Asset. The tool’s Gold Sponsor is Lend Lease, whilst its Silver Sponsors are: AMP Capital Investors, Australand, Building Commission Victoria, Colonial First State Property, DBRREEF (Deutsche Bank Real Estate), General Property Trust, ING Office Fund, Investa, Leighton Properties, Macquarie Office Trust and Multiplex Capital. We acknowledge these organisations’ generous support and congratulate them on demonstrating environmental leadership.
Maria
