Just last week, a new research report from Davis Langdon estimated that refurbishing a significant quantity of office stock across Australia would create jobs for more than 10,000 people in the construction industry.

Retrogreening Offices in Australia argues that, forevery 'green collar job' created as a result of retrofitting the 81 per cent of our stock that is more than ten years of age, there is a potential annual saving of approximately 300 tonnes of greenhouse gas. More.

Peter Garrett unveiling 100th Green Star certified project100th Green Star certified building opens in Sydney

On 16 April, the Federal Minister for Environment, Heritage and the Arts, Peter Garrett, officially opened Australia's 100th Green Star certified building, Stockland's head office in Sydney.

Stockland's office at 133 Castlereagh Street is the first project in Australia to achieve a 6 Star Green Star - Office Interiors v1.1 certified rating. More.

Breakfast with the Stars - new topics, greener outcome
