The evidence is all there in black and white: Green Star-rated buildings emit around a third of the greenhouse gas emissions and use a third of the electricity when compared with the average Australian building.

Funded by the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism, the Smart Blocks website offers apartment owners and managers easy-to-understand information on how to improve the efficiency of common area lighting, water systems, ventilation, pools and amenities.
