Expression of Interest to be a part of green building mission to Germany

See what your counterparts are doing for sustainable green building in Germany. We're calling for expressions of interest to be part of an Australian delegation to Germany from 21st to 27th June 2009. As part of the week long event you will:
- Attend the CONSENSE Conference held by the German Sustainable Building Council in Stuttgart
- Visit one the world's most advanced and largest building test facilities just outside of Munich: The Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics
- Visit the Centre for Sustainable Building in Kassel, a building which has recently been awarded a 'silver' rating by the German Sustainable Building Council
- Visit the Solvis zero-emission factory, Braunschweig, a building which has won numerous awards including the Innovation Prize for Architecture 2001, the European Solar Prize and the Energy Globe
- Meet Representatives for the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs and key industry players in the German Market
- Visit energy efficient commercial and residential buildings in Stuttgart, Munich and Berlin.
There will be a GBCA administration cost of AU $1000 per delegate, which will include:
- Mission coordination (including organising delegate accommodation, ground transport, meals)
- Production of any mission material
- Organisation of building site visits, visit of the Fraunhofer Institute, the ZUB, the Solvis 0-emissions Photovoltaic factory
- Organisation of meetings
This fee does nor include your airfare, transport, accommodation, CONSENSE entry fee and other personal expenses.
Please RSVP by the 27 March 2009. A minimum of 10 people are required to pursue this event.
