UCI's TaskAir System Wins Innovation of the Year Award
UCI's world first TaskAir System has won an international Innovation of the Year Award.
Organised by Building Sustainable Design and Electrical and Mechanical Contractor magazines in the U.K., the awards acknowledge and reward excellence, innovation and professionalism.
TaskAir, a world wide patented innovation, is a personalised ventilation system which is a simple and clever solution to alleviate the "thermostat wars" in the office. Open plan layout is widely used in modern office design and often results in high density occupancy levels which bring about an occupant dissatisfaction with thermal comfort and air quality.
UCI's TaskAir system delivers fresh conditioned air directly to the occupant of the workstation through a diffuser, allowing the user complete control of
direction and volume of air-flow.
