Green Star Steering Committee - Nominations Closed

The GBCA is calling for industry leaders to join the Green Star Steering Committee.

 

Who are we looking for?

Leaders with a strong influence in the property industry and with experience in advocating for sustainability in the built environment.

Green Star Steering Committee members will hold senior management positions and have a key understanding of the economic, social, and environmental drivers that affect the adoption of sustainable building practices internationally.

What is the Green Star Steering Committee?

The role of the Green Star Steering Committee is to ensure that the Green Star rating system remain rigorous, market relevant, valued by industry and continues to be Australia’s leading rating tool for the built environment. The committee must ensure that a consensus process continues to be used to evolve Green Star in accordance with the mission and strategic plan of the GBCA.

The Green Star Steering Committee will be supported by three advisory groups. It is expected that a call for nominations for the three advisory groups will be made in March 2015.
