The Green Star Accredited Professional exam is moving online
Wed 3 Jun, 2009 Industry News
The Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP) exam is moving online.
Feedback from our GSAPs had indicated that they would have liked a flexible, 'anytime, anywhere' exam that could be completed online.
In response, the Green Building Council of Australia will be delivering online examinations from 1 July 2009.
The exam will be an open book examination that you can undertake at home or work - and at your convenience. However, it will be a 2-hour timed exam that must be completed in one sitting.
Exam questions will still be multiple choice, but will focus on practical application as well as theory.
Once you've completed the exam, you'll know immediately if you have passed. In addition, you'll no longer have to wait for your GSAP certificate and logo, which will now be available to download immediately from your user profile.
We're pleased to confirm that the cost of sitting the exam will remain the same - $150 per exam - and the exam process will now be administered directly through the Green Building Council of Australia.
The online exam will not be available before 1 July. People who wish to sit the exam on or before 30 June 2009 can do so by registering through Prometric on 1300 368 785, and arranging a suitable time and location.
All those who attended a GSAP course within the last year will be sent an email with further details on how to register and sit for the new online exam.
