In 2010, the GBCA launched Green Star – Custom, a revolutionary new Green Star rating tool development service. Green Star – Custom allows GBCA member companies to work directly with the GBCA’s Green Star rating tool development team to build specialised, exclusive-use Green Star rating tools that are custom-designed for their individual project type or sector. Green Star – Custom opens up the benefits of Green Star certification to a broader range of organisations and project types, and allows projects that may not have been eligible for assessment under the current suite of rating tools to gain the independent, holistic, third-party verification of their sustainable credentials that only Green Star certification can provide.
