How do I get involved in developing Green Star tools?
Fri 13 Jun, 2008 (Updated: Tue 4 Nov, 2008)
There are two ways to become involved in developing Green Star environmental rating tools.
- Become a sponsor of a tool.
The development of each Green Star rating tool is dependent on generous sponsorship and in-kind contributions from industry and government throughout Australia.
When your company sponsors a tool, you can nominate a staff member from your company to take part in the Technical Working Group (TWG).
The TWG meets over a 14-week period to develop the tool. As part of the TWG, your company has a voice in the tool development process. Find out more about sponsoring the Public Building environmental rating tool. Or contact Louise Ong, Membership and Sponsorship Coordinator on 02 8239 6200 - Submit your Expression of Interest.
You can also join the TWG by submitting an Expression of Interest form. Candidates are selected based on their industry experience and knowledge of the Green Star environmental rating system. Prerequisites for TWG members include being a Green Star Accredited Professional and being from a Green Building Council of Australia member organisation. Please complete the TWG Expression of Interest form, and attach a copy of your CV.
