What is Green Star - Office As Built?

The Green Star - Office As Built rating tool validates the construction and procurement of environmental initiatives of an office building. The Green Star - Office As Built environmental rating tool assesses the same design initiatives as Green Star - Office Design, but the validation documentation differs: it is retrospective and therefore assesses characteristics relevant to the construction of the building and are the responsibility of the contractor.
Project teams are encouraged to use the Green Star - Office As Built environmental rating tool in conjunction with Green Star - Office Design in order to validate the environmental initiatives of a BCA Class 5 building; within at least 24 months of practical completion.
