What needs to be included in a query submitted to greenstar@gbca.org.au?
Fri 13 Jun, 2008 (Updated: Tue 4 Nov, 2008)
General queries
When submitting a query to Green Star please ensure you clearly state the following:
- The Green Star environmental rating tool you are referring to and the version (for example, Green Star - Office Interiors v1.1)
- The credit (e.g. Man-1 'Green Star Accredited Professional')
Project-specific queries
Project-specific queries can be sent to the project case manager at the Green Building Council of Australia. As each case manager handles a number of projects across Australia, the GBCA requests only one point of contact per project - so only queries from project managers will be answered.
If you are not the project manager, then please contact your project manager with your query.
When sending a project-specific query:
- Thoroughly read the Aim of the Credit, Credit Criteria, Compliance Requirements and Additional Guidance in the Technical Manual, AND Technical Clarifications & CIR Rulings before submitting your query to the Green Star team.
- Include the GS number and project name in the subject line of your email.
- Clearly explain the questions or clarifications required for the credit(s). The more precise and detailed your query, the clearer and more efficient the response.
- If you do not know the name of your case manager, please clearly state this in the email, and your query will be forwarded to your case manager.
