What is the process for revising Material Credits?
Wed 11 Jun, 2008 (Updated: Tue 4 Nov, 2008)
The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) undertakes an annual cycle of tool revision, during which time all stakeholder feedback is collated, summarised and used to inform proposed revisions to Green Star environmental rating tools.
Stakeholder feedback specific to the Green Star Timber, PVC Minimisation, Recycled Content of Steel and Concrete credits has been instrumental in the establishment of current and planned material credit revision projects. All credit revision involves a stakeholder engagement process to ensure that revisions are made transparently and in a robustly informed manner.
