Meet the Stars

Meet the Stars is GBCA's premier Case Study series, featuring in-depth case studies on Green Star certified projects, aspects of case studies or a speaker who is considered influential in the green built environment. Traditionally held as a breakfast seminar these events have been held across Australia since 2006.
Each event may feature a case study presentation from a keynote speaker or panel, followed by a Q&A session. Successful events have also featured in-depth analysis by Green Star project teams on achieving a specific rating such as innovation.

Audiences appreciate the opportunity to ask questions and learn how to overcome
the challenges of 'building green'.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Meet the Stars events attract a range of GBCA members and non-members from a variety of industry disciplines. The audience includes organisations and project teams currently working on projects aiming to achieve Green Star certification, as well as many leading green builders in Australia.

Green Star projects achieving their certification in the months prior will also be recognised at these event as will all new member organisations.

PREDICTED EXPOSURE

All events are promoted to over 20,000 industry professionals nationwide, with the event is listed on the GBCA website and featured in the monthly e-newsletter. Meet the Stars events typically attract around 200 people per event, although slightly lower numbers can be expected in Canberra and Hobart.
