World Green Building Week 2017

World Green Building Week started in 2009 to create a more connected, more interactive, more public conversation around the role buildings play in creating our sustainable future.

By working together in the same week all over the world, our message is louder, demonstrates global diversity in activities and creates excitement as people feel part of our growing global community.

MAKE YOUR HERO ZERO
This year, the theme is "net zero" buildings - which stems from the World GBC's ground breaking Advancing Net Zero project to ensure ALL buildings produce net zero carbon emissions by 2050

Buildings currently account for over a third of the world's greenhouse gas emissions. Are you willing to help make a change?

The GBCA will be hosting a series of events across the country during World Green Building Week, 25 September to 1 October, to help us find ways to combat climate change and make all buildings net zero by 2050.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be adding events here as a way for you to stay in the loop ahead of the world's largest green building movement.

Buildings can be heroes in the fight against climate change - and so can you.
