Site Tour - SA Police HQ

Join the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) on Wednesday 14 November 2012 as we take a behind-the-scenes tour of the 5 Star Green Star – Office Design v3-certified SA Police HQ building at 100 Angas Street, Adelaide. Achieving its Green Star Design rating in 2011 and currently targeting Green Star – Office As Built and Interiors certifications, the 10 storey building provides 18,000m2 of sustainable office accommodation for the South Australian Police Force.
The base building has been delivered with a custom designed and fully integrated fitout which meets the specialised needs of SA Police, and accommodates the diverse needs of the SA Police Executive, Major Fraud Investigation Unit, Police Prosecution and administration staff, in addition to providing a street-level customer service area.
Environmentally sustainable design initiatives include the provision of superior levels of ventilation with 100 per cent outside air and no re-circulation, daylight and glare control through blinds and shading, high-efficiency T5 lighting, passive chilled beams for cooling and low-VOC finishes throughout.
Come along to hear from the project team and explore SA Police HQ’s sustainable design features
