Site Tour - One40 William Street SOLD OUT

Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) will be taking a tour of One40 William Street this Tuesday 8 May 2012, and this is your invitation to join us. Achieving 5 Star Green Star – Office Design v2 certification in late 2008, One40 William is now targeting a 5 Star Green Star – Office As Built v2 rating as a complement to its design rating, with building tenants the Department of Finance – Building Management and Works also targeting 5 Star Green Star – Office Interiors v1.1 certification for their interior fitout within the complex.
Situated directly above Perth underground railway station, One40 William is at the centre of a major civic intersection of retail, food, public transport, entertainment and commercial office amenity. The development marries modern architecture with the heritage of the adjoining buildings and facades on Wellington, Baird, William and Globe Streets, and incorporates sophisticated ESD technology for optimal efficiency and occupant comfort. Sustainable design features of One40 William include:
- Curtain walling
- Glazed and insulated metal infill panel façades
- High efficiency water cooled centrifugal chillers
- Floor-by-floor air handling to VAV distribution with condensing boilers for low pressure hot water (LPHW) generation
- High-efficiency T5 lighting
- Low-flow tap ware
- Rain water and grey water harvesting.
Come along to check out One40 William Street’s sustainable features, hear from the project team about the achievement of the building’s 5 Star Green Star – Office Design v2 certification, and get an update on the steps that the project team are currently taking to achieve an As Built certification.
