Site Tour & Networking Evening: Newcastle
Join us in Newcastle on Thursday 3 May 2012 for a site tour and networking evening hosted by GHD. GHD’s 4 Star Green Star – Office Interiors v1.1 rated fitout is located within the GHD Tower building, which achieved 4 Star Green Star – Office As Built v2 certification in late 2010. A shining example of “Best Practice” environmentally sustainable design, features of GHD's fitout and the wider building include:
- High performance façade and glazing
- Air flow and daylight maximization
- Sub-metering for major water usages, efficient fixtures and water storage facilities for irrigation and fire system testing
- Cyclist facilities and proximity to public transport to encourage decreased occupant reliance on cars
- High-efficiency T5 zoned lighting
- Green Star ratings for the base building and interior fitouts.
The event will feature a guided site tour of GHD's office space, followed by drinks and networking with other green building professionals, and the presentation of GHD’s Green Star certificate.
