The workshop will explore real examples from our industry, such as the way LCA has empowered event sponsors Interface to modify their products to be more sustainable, and identify areas for product improvement.

Dr Kirkpatrick has advised the boards of blue chip companies including Shell and Unilever on the use of LCA to inform their corporate strategies, decrease their contribution to climate change and improve resource efficiency. With ERM, Neil recently worked with Tesco, Britain's largest retailer, to create a system to capture and record life cycle footprint data on a range of products, and communicate this information to consumers.
