Join the Green Building of Australia (GBCA) as we kick-start the year with a site tour of Canberra’s Sirius Building. Housing the Department of Health and Aging (DOHA) as the sole tenant, the development has achieved dual 5 Star Green Star certifications - 5 Star Green Star – Office Design v2 and 5 Star Green Star – Office As Built v2

Sirius’ two contiguous office towers offer maximum space on each floor – much of which is column-free. The building’s extensive shading and high performance glass façade is designed for the variable climate of the ACT, minimising direct solar gain while capitalising on natural light for high levels of energy efficiency and occupant comfort. The building also features an efficient low temperature VAV HVAC system, grey water and rainwater recycling systems, and has undergone full commissioning and comprehensive post-occupancy tuning.
