Green Star Faculty

Faculty was launched in May 2007 to meet the ever increasing demand for Green Star training. Nineteen Industry professionals have been selected to teach the Green Star Accredited Professional Course, Office Interiors Advanced Course and Submissions Workshop. Faculty will also be involved in the development and presentation of future courses. Members of Faculty have been chosen for their diverse industry expertise and geographical reach. All members work for Member organizations, have extensive industry experience in Green Star and are trained to deliver knowledge at the highest standard. Faculty meet quarterly and membership is reviewed annually.

Faculty provides and promotes knowledge, materials, programs and resources that support:

• the development and implementation of Green Star rating tools;
• the members of the GBCA in their professional learning activities; and
• the mainstreaming of green building knowledge and practice in the property and manufacturing industries.
