This interactive and easy-to-understand course was developed to give you an understanding of the Green Star - Multi Unit Residential rating tool and its sector specific credits, and includes detailed case study examples demonstrating how projects have responded to the requirements of this tool and the project outcomes.
This course will provide an understanding of:
- Which types of buildings are eligible to be rated under Green Star - Multi Unit Residential
- Aims of each category and the Multi Unit Residential specific credits within the tool
- Credits that are not common across all Green Star tools, including common credits where requirements have changed within this tool.
This online course focuses on the Green Star - Multi Unit Residential v1 rating tool credits, principles and benchmarks that are specific only to this rating tool. It is strongly recommended that the Green Star Foundation or Green Star Accredited Professional course has been attended prior to commencing this online course, so that participants have a comprehensive understanding of how Green Star works as an environmental rating system and the credits common to all rating tools.
The course will take approximately three hours to complete, and will be available to you for six months. Feel free to start and stop the online course as required, and log in whenever you need to review tool specific credits from the Green Star - Multi Unit Residential v1 rating tool or review the case studies even after you complete the course.
CPD Points
Upon completion of this course, including all the quizzes incorporated throughout, participants will earn 6 CPD points.

Course participants will be involved in a Green Star - Multi Unit Residential v1 project, or seeking to start or become a Green Star project for residential.
Participants in Green Star courses come from an increasingly diverse range of professions, including academics, architects, contractors/builders, cost planners, engineers, facilities managers, general managers, interior designers, landscape architects, marketing managers, policy advisers, product manufacturers, project managers, quantity surveyors and lawyers.
We welcome anyone who works on a Green Star project in any capacity to attend the course to assist Green Star knowledge across the entire project team.

The course fee includes tuition and unlimited access to the online course for a period of 6 months from date of payment.
Introductory offer for Technical Manuals
Technical manuals can be ordered separately online. There is an introductory offer of $100 off the price of the Multi Unit Residential v1 Technical Manual (valid for one month from course payment date).
Payments and refund policy
- Cancellations should be made in writing and can only be made no more than 7 days after to course payment. Only 50% of payments shall be refunded.
- Refunds of course payments will not be made if the online course is partially or fully completed.
- Transfers to other participants can be made if the online course has not been partially or fully completed.
- Refund cheques take up to 4 weeks to process and will be forwarded to participants by mail.
