GSAP Eligibility Documentation

To register for CPD as a Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP) you are required to pass the Online GSAP Exam and to upload eligibility documentation (documented evidence in the form of a letter) outlining your last two years experience working on Green Star or green building project/s to your CPD Learning Portal.

Your eligibility documentation must be uploaded to your CPD Learning Portal and submitted to the GBCA for approval before an application for GSAP status can be approved.

Please complete and submit this template detailing:

  • The role you had in the delivery of a project registered for Green Star Certification (or certification under a comparable rating scheme such as LEED or BREEAM) or
  • The role you had in the delivery of green building projects
  • Details of the project (including name, location, start and end date), and a project contact name
  • Signed by an employer, client, or project manager responsible for the project.


To upload the documented evidence to your CPD Learning Portal:

  1. Log in to the GBCA website
  2. Click on the "CPD" link located on the top right hand side of the GBCA home page.
  3. Scroll to the middle of the page and click on the "Create New Request" button underneath the heading GSAP Eligibility Documentation and upload the required eligibility documentation.

You will be notified of the outcome of your application by e-mail within 10 working days.

NOTE: Eligibility documentation and the Online GSAP Exam is only required for the Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP) level. Those registering for CPD as a Green Star Associate do not need to sit the Online GSAP exam or provide eligibility documentation.
