By participating and maintaining your Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP) status under the CPD program, you will be recognised by the industry and potential employers as an expert in the green building field and Green Star.
Green Star Accredited Professionals will need to undertake ongoing training in order to maintain their GSAP status.
Becoming Green Star Accredited Professional
To gain your GSAP status, you must have completed the following eligibility requirements within two years immediately preceding the date of application for the CPD program:
- Complete the Green Star Foundation Course (or previous GSAP course)
- Pass the online Green Star Accredited Professional exam
- Enrol online into the CPD program and pay a biennial fee
- On initial joining of the CPD program, provide documented evidence describing your involvement in Green Star or green building project/s.
You will then have two years to complete:
- 30 CPD points (of which 10 CPD points need to be achieved through GBCA courses and events).
- The online Green Star Refresher Course - 2 CPD points.
A GSAP certificate and logo will be available to download from the Downloads section of your Profile once the above eligibility requirements have been met.
