Green Star - Design & As Built Foundation Course

Since its release, more than 100 buildings and fitouts have registered for Green Star – Design & As Built and Green Star - Interiors.  More and more projects and organisations, such as Commonwealth Bank, Frasers, and Renewal SA, are reaping the benefits of a rating tool that that helps them achieve and be recognised for their world leading outcomes.

Attendees will be able to use the rating tool as a framework for creating more sustainable buildings and places, identifying change opportunities through volume certification, and realising the many benefits of sustainable design and construction.

The course aims to:

• Achieve a better understanding of sustainable design and construction practices.
• Identify the purpose, key components, and structure of Green Star – Design & As Built.
• Learn how to improve the design of your asset, or your series of assets by using Green Star – Design & As Built.
• Articulate the benefits of certifying new buildings and fitouts, and how that meets investor and tenant demand

CPD

As this course is a prerequisite to enrol in the CPD program, attendance at this course does not accrue any CPD points for first time participants. For people who are already enrolled in CPD having attended a previous Foundation course, 3 Green Star points will be accrued.
