About the event

Breakfast with the Stars was launched in 2006 to offer the industry in-depth case studies on Green Star certified projects. These breakfasts are interactive as a panel of experts enables attendees to ask questions and discover how to overcome the challenges of 'building green'.

The Breakfast with the Stars seminar is held nationwide across the following capital cities:

Sydney
Brisbane
Melbourne
Perth
Adelaide
Canberra
Hobart

These events attract a range of Green Building Council of Australia members and non-members from a variety of industry disciplines and are strongly advised for organisations and project teams currently working on projects aiming to achieve Green Star certification.

Turning a Tenancy Green
This breakfast featured Charter Hall's Sydney Head Office which achieved a 4 Star Green Star - Office Interiors v1.2 rating.

Friday 7 March
New era of sustainability for Sydney
This breakfast featured 88 George St (Bushells Warehouse) which achieved a 5 Star Green star - Office Design v2 rating and was the first heritage listed Green Star project and Workplace6 which achieved a 6 Star Green Star - Office Design v2 rating and was the first project in NSW to achieve a 6 Star Green Star rating.

This breakfast featured the first certified project for Tasmania, Hydro Tasmania Consulting which achieved a 5 Star Green Star - Office Design v2 rating.

Taking Green Star beyond Commercial Offices
This breakfast featured Chadstone Shopping Centre which achieved a 5 Star Green Star - Shopping Centre Design PILOT rating and Melbourne Convention Centre which achieved a 6 Star Green Star - Convention Centre PILOT rating and was Australia's first 6 Star rated convention centre.
