7.1 Eco-city Sustainability Campaign
Eco-city Sustainability Campaign aims to raise City of Melbourne's residents and businesses awareness of environmental issues by disseminating information as well as organising open forums on timely topics.
The Eco-city website also provides tips and information resources to households, businesses and community organisations.
7.2 Greening Your Building Toolkit
Greening Your Building - A Toolkit for Improving Asset Performance is a guide for building owners and facility managers, containing over 70 management, maintenance and refurbishment initiatives designed to improve buildings' environmental performance and at the same time reduce operating costs.
The Toolkit is designed as a simple, single starting point for making office buildings green. Included in the toolkit is a summary of each initiative with information about potential benefits, risks, the process of implementation, payback periods and approximate costs as well as directions on where you can find more detailed information. The initiatives are also cross-indexed by their Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) categories. These categories align with the Green Building Council of Australia's Green Star categories, and allow users to easily identify the impact of each improvement.
7.3 Canopy - Melbourne Green Roof Forum
Canopy - Melbourne Green Roof Forum is a working group established by City of Melbourne provides the opportunity for green roof enthusiasts, practitioners, designers, industry members and researchers to share information and ideas.
