PictureBronwyn Papas - Education Manager

Bronwyn has been involved in the training and development industry for over 7 years and has a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. She has worked in the transport industry developing course content and delivering training courses for a major Sydney taxi company. She then progressed to managing a Registered Training Organisation and worked extensively with various training packages and government bodies, developing and facilitating training courses.

Bronwyn joined GBCA in April 2009. Her role to is develop and enhance the education program to ensure the GBCA continues to play a vital role in the training and education of the green collar industry.

Bronwyn has two education coordinators to support her.

Joe Karten - Curriculum Developer

Joe comes from rainy Portland, Oregon and has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Following college, he spent 9 months on a fellowship research of sustainable buildings in Mexico and Western Europe.

Joe coordinates the development of course material for the Education department.

Renee Lavery - CPD Coordinator

Renee has various responsibilities within the GBCA Education team including coordinating the 150 GBCA course which are held each year, Queensland Green Skills program and the GBCA Master Class conferences. Renee has recently been responsible for developing and implementing the Continuing Professional Development Program.

Previously, Renee worked for Clean Up Australia as their Project Officer responsible for organising their Schools Clean Up Day. Prior to this, Renee had experience working in Sport Management, managing Surf Life Saving Australia's High Performance Program and Macquarie University's University Sport Program.
