Daniel Grollo - Grocon
Position on GBCA Board: Director
Daniel Grollo is Chief Executive Officer of Grocon Pty Ltd, Australia's largest privately-owned construction company.
Grocon was originally started as a concreting business in the late 1950s by Daniel's grandfather, Luigi Grollo, building suburban swimming pools and community facilities. Luigi's son, Bruno, transformed the company into a development and construction giant in the 1980s and 1990s, building such iconic structures as Melbourne's Rialto Towers and restoring Sydney's heritage GPO building at No 1 Martin Place.
Daniel became a non-executive director on the Bluescope Steel Board as of October 2006 and until recently, was on the board of the Victorian division and the National President of the Property Council of Australia.
